Day 5 – Hong Kong

As promised, breakfast was back at serenade restaurant where we were all set to splurge on this Yum Cha. Great ambience, fantastic sea view of the Hong Kong CBD area, delicious dim sum.. sums up to a great meal!

Ocean park was next and I must say that once again im not that impressed with the Asian themeparks though this is better than Taiwan’s Liu Fu Chun in my opinion. Ocean Park is more family based and it is the perfect themepark to bring your wife and kids along and have an enjoyable day there. Its just too bad that none of us are married and of course, no kids to go along.

The only probably highlight was the cutting queue issue when we were waiting for the ‘Abyss’ ride, similar to Genting’s Celero shot. Citizens of a certain nationality kept cutting queue and when one of the members from their group were unable to catch up with those in front. Pissed by their actions, the 4 of us literally formed a brick wall to prevent any other people to do the same again. That idiot even had the cheek to ask us to make way for him and he says he just want to meet up with his friends and he aint cutting queue! What a joke. No way we say and the brick wall stays.

Yau Ma Tei’s ‘Bou Zai Fan’ was delicious! Lived up to its name and all of us had a bowl each. A banana treat from Song thereafter was enough to make us feel really full..

G2000 outlet shopping was next and I must say outlets are really fantastic! Good stuffs at cheap price, how I wish I can have a map of Hong Kong showing all the outlet shops.

Xu liu Shan’s dessert were tasty. The ice-cream in the centre of the ice and mango was especially good. I have certainly ran out of adjectives to describe.. hence just look at the pictures! And to round up the day of fantastic food, we had roadside sticks of bbqed snacks. The highlight was the crispy smelly toufu which in my opinion is even better than Taiwan’s!

A great day of great food!
