Arrival at Phi Phi

WARNINGS: We were approached by a tout immediately upon arrival at Phuket Airport. He offered us an irresistible offer for a ride down to the pier at 220 Baht(including pier entrance fee). What intrigue us more was the opportunity to catch the only boat ride leaving Phuket to Phi Phi at 2.30 pm despite it being 2.20 pm then! As expected, we took up the offer. We were on a rush upon arrival at the pier and had no choice but to accept the deal of 1000 Baht per person for the round trip. And now here comes the PAINFUL truth - a one-way ticket was only 300-350 Baht.

Gearing Up for the Dive

Under the water: We spotted 4 black tip sharks which were extremely shy and harmless carnivores. There were also sightings of moray eel, lion fish, trevallies, flutemouths and markble grouper. The only disappointment was missing out on the sea turtles.

Information: 2500 Baht for 2 dives and 700 Baht for snorkelling. Prices are standardize across the island and thus there isn't a need to source for cheaper bargains.

Our dinner at Papaya

Well-Recommended by Lonely Planet and the locals. It was a small shop by the alley and the decorations were not exquisite. However, what they lack in, they made it up with the quality and quantity of their food.

Yet another meal at Cosmic Restaurant

Please do make the same mistake by ordering the local cuisine as this restaurant is well-known for its Pastas and Pizzas
