Lunch at MK restaurant in Central Phuket Festival

Have a break, have a Baskin Robin
From the pier to our next destination - Patong Beach, we made a stopover at Central Phuket Festival. The shuttle service from the pier to Central Phuket Festival costs us 350 Baht.
Heavy luggage? No worries!! Approach the customers' service counter for the free Luggage deposit.

Public bus from Central Phuket Festival to Patong Beach

We were offered 400 Baht for a cab ride to Patong Beach at the taxi stand. Determined not to pay that price, we walked in search of a better deal. We caught a bus stop in sight and thought to ourselves, 'Why not?'. Assisted by some locals from this 'Land of Thousand Smile', we managed to get ourselves onto a public bus headed towards Patong Beach. The fare for the locals was 15 Baht and 25 Baht for foreigners but a good deal it was, which saw us grinning ear to ear all the way to Patong.

Poppa Palace, relatively cheap and elegant
Be Warned: Infestation of mosquitoes at the dining area. KEEP CLEAR!

Seafood Dinner at Patong
Be prepared to enter a war zone when you walk along the chain of seafood restaurants as dozens of touts swarmed at you. Stay on the opposite of the street or simply ignore them.

Bangla Road, where all the bars and pubs gather.
